The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margie Jackson of Mooresville. She graduated from West Rowan High School with her CNA. She is presently enrolled at Mitchell College and will receive her associate degree in nursing in May. She has accepted a position at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville.
Her fiance is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Nugent of Clemmons and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Childress of of Winston-Salem. He graduated from North Davidson High School and served six years in the United States Marine Corps, He also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently employed with the U.S. Postal Service and plans to further his education in Christian religious study.
The couple will wed July 14, 2007 at Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville.
