Ivey Lamb and Corey Jackson exchange vows

- Ivey Nicole Lamb and Corey Dale Jackson, both of Advance, were married Saturday, April 14 at Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run.
Calvin Mauk officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila Mays of Bermuda Run and Gene Lamb of Greensboro. Her maternal grandparents are Dwight and Evelyn Welborn of Advance. Her paternal grandparents are the late Annie Lea Lamb Hawk and the late Ben Lamb; and step-grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Harold Hawk, of Brown Summit and the late Mavis Coleman and James Coleman of Mayodan. She graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School and received an associate’s degree in business from Forsyth Technical Community College. She is a pharmacy technician for Eckerd Drug Store.
The groom is the son of Susan Mauk of Rural Hall and Keith Jackson of Coldwater, Mich. His paternal grandparents are the late Kenneth Jackson and Ellen Marie Jackson of Lewiston, Mich. His maternal grandparents are the late Amos Fleming and Anne Fleming of Coldwater. He graduated from North Forsyth High School and is a commercial parts pro at Advance Auto in Clemmons.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Gene Lamb, and her stepfather, Charlie Mays. She wore a beaded lace and satin white gown with a cathedral train and carried a cascading bouquet of tulips, stargazer lilies, stephanotis, pink and white roses.
The matron of honor was Rebecca Byrd Kaiser of Raleigh. Bridesmaids were Amanda Burcham of Winston-Salem, the groom’s sister; and Anna and Elizabeth Lamb of Greensboro, the bride’s sisters.
Wesley (Mark) Holt served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Bolin, Dr. Eric Bolin, Andy Scott and Ted Poulos, the bride’s cousin, who also introduced the couple in 2003.
Riley Holt and Jacqueline Dusart were the flower girls. Garrett Thorne, the groom’s cousin, was the ring bearer.
Donna Farthing, Rachel Hawker and Jeff and Lisette Dusart were the guest register attendants.
Wedding music was provided by Mike Hendrix, pianist; Bruce and Sonya Carrell, vocalists; and Tom Jenkins, disc jockey.
Bonnie Cobbs was the wedding coordinator.
A dove release to honor the bride’s late aunt, Scarlett Welborn, as well as other deceased loved ones, followed the ceremony.
A dinner and dancing reception were held in the Bermuda Run Grand Ballroom.
Several celebrations were held in the couple’s honor. A luncheon was given at the home of Beverly Bradstock, and hosted by Beverly, Sandie Mauk, Rebecca Crabtree, Amanda Burcham, and Mindi Mauk. The “Club Moms,” Laurie Knox, Debbie Kronenfeld, Debbie McGee and Beth Phillips (friends of Patty Lamb) hosted a Bridal Shower Luncheon at Greensboro Country Club. Donna Farthing, Evelyn Welborn, Olga Poulos and Violet Jolley hosted a combined family celebration at the home of Violet Jolley.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s mother and stepfather, Susan & Calvin Mauk, was held in the private dining room at Venezia’s Italian Restaurant.
After a honeymoon trip to Coconut Point Resort, Fla., the couple will live in Advance.
