The Black Knights, who fell to West three weeks ago, scored goals in each half to down the Titans 2-1. The Knights got on the board early, taking a 1-0 advantage 10 minutes into the match. In the second half, West tallied the equalizer on an unassisted goal by Adam Abbruzzese at the 84-minute mark. But a little over a minute later, the Knights were rewarded a penalty kick and turned the opportunity into the game-winning goal. Both teams are now 4-4 in Central Piedmont Conference play. West, 7-7-2 overall, will continue conference play at home against Mount Tabor on Thursday night. The Titans were also scheduled to play a nonconference match at Reagan on Tuesday. |
