Lewisville Council will begin budget process

It’s that time of year again for the Lewisville Town Council- budget time.
Town staff will present the first draft of the Fiscal Year 2007-2008 budget to council this Thursday, April 12, during council’s regular meeting. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the G. Galloway Reynolds Community Center.
Over the next two months, council will hold a series of budget workshops. Council and staff will go through the budget line by line and make any adjustments or changes they deem necessary.
These budget workshops are open to the public. The schedule is as follows:
A drop-in budget forum will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the fire department, 216 Lewisville-Clemmons Road. All citizens are encouraged to attend and share any budget concerns they have with council.
